We are proud to announce the Aero2 PCS 60 and PLT 60, with the design help from Kaleidoscope Innovation, have won The Chicago Athenaeum Museum of Architecture and Design 2021 GOOD DESIGN® Award in the industrial category. This award is given out to “the most innovative and cutting-edge industrial, product, and graphic designs produced around the world.” The GOOD DESIGN® Award is judged on quality, design, function, and aesthetics.
The Aero2 series was designed with the operator in mind, offering an ergonomic design for optimal comfort. Dave Burbrink, the lead designer from Cold Jet for the Aero2 series says, “From the onset of the project, our motto was ’LESS ICE, LESS AIR, LESS NOISE.”
This line of dry ice blasters puts operators in complete control. The machines are easy to use with an intuitive HMI display allowing operators to reduce air and dry ice consumption by fine tuning blasting parameters. With a drastic weight and size reduction compared to competing machines, and wheels designed for mobility and maneuverability, the Aero2 series provides an enhanced cleaning experience.
