Experienced strategic business professional to lead growth in Cold Jet's dry ice production business
CINCINNATI - May 26, 2010 - Cold Jet, the world leader in environmentally responsible dry ice blast cleaning and production technology, today announced the appointment of Rick Stepien to the newly created position of President - Dry Ice Manufacturing Systems. Stepien will be responsible for developing the dry ice production market worldwide as well as serving as a member of the Senior Leadership Team. Stepien joins Cold Jet from CONTECH Construction Products where he served various roles, including most recently as Chief Marketing Officer.

Prior to his role leading the CONTECH marketing organization, Stepien held roles as President - Stormwater Solutions Division and Senior Vice President - Marketing within CONTECH. He also spent 17 years in a variety of general management, marketing and sales positions with General Electric. While at both CONTECH and General Electric, Stepien successfully lead multi-million dollar growth initiatives.

Stepien holds a BS in Mechanical Engineering from the University of Notre Dame and an MBA in Business Administration from the University of Michigan. He is certified in Six Sigma. Stepien is also closely affiliated with several professional groups, including the Young Presidents Organization (YPO) and the Manufacturers Alliance Marketing Council and participates on a number of company and non-profit boards.
