2012-03-07 - Cold Jet Germany Launches New Product at World Travel Catering & Onboard Services Expo in Hamburg
PR750 dry ice slice production system to revolutionize Airline Catering and Transport Cooling Markets
Weinsheim Germany, HQ Loveland, OH and Hamburg Messe, Germany – March 7, 2012. Cold Jet®, the global leader in dry ice manufacturing and dry ice cleaning solutions, will launch the PR750 – an on-site dry ice slice production system – at the World Travel Catering & Onboard Services Expo on March 27-29, 2012.
The PR750 is a combination of a Pelletizer and Reformer, allowing users to manufacture dry ice, reform the ice into the desired slice size and then produce individually wrapped slices all in one, compact system. This process will revolutionize the Airline Catering and Transport Cooling markets because it reduces over-ordering, results in less ice lost to sublimation and also creates individually wrapped slices with the company’s logo that are ready for use when needed.
“With the PR750’s just-in-time, on-site production, quality slices can be produced quickly and efficiently, eliminating the middleman and putting control back in the hands of airline caterers,” said Wim Eeckelaers, Dry Ice Manufacturing Systems Senior Vice President for Cold Jet. “The PR750 can help reduce waste, improve the quality of dry ice through the elimination of transport and also ensure supply when there is demand.”
Cold Jet will exhibit at booth number 1B40 located in Hall B1 at the Expo and invites the public to stop by the booth to learn more about the new product. In addition, Cold Jet will present during the Expo’s “Taste of Travel” on Wednesday, March 28th at 2:00 p.m. Cold Jet’s President and CEO Gene Cooke will discuss the company’s latest innovations and provide details as to how on-site, dry ice slice production can save airline caterers up to 30% in their largest non-food consumable cost.
