Regional Sales Representative - Benelux Region

An exciting opportunity is available for a Regional Sales Representative in the Benelux region!

Due to our rapid company expansion and growth, we are seeking qualified sales candidates to apply for the position of Regional Sales Representative for the Benelux region based out of our Zellik and surrounding areas, Belgium office. The person will be responsible for the development, implementation, and management of Cold Jet products and service sales throughout the assigned sales territory. This position requires a high-energy, self-motivated individual with a strong mechanical aptitude. The successful person will be entrepreneur spirited, a road warrior (75% of the job will involve travel, both day trips, and overnight trips) and understand the opportunities that can drive the Cold Jet brand. The individual should be able to speak Dutch, French, and English.


POSITION RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Work with the Director of Sales to develop a strategy for achieving budgeted sales in your territory and execute that plan
  • Execute sales process from lead/inital contact through the receipt of the order using Cold Jet's proven sales process
  • Engage in solution-based selling
  • Coordinate trail rental or perform product demonstrations
  • Assist customers in conducting a cost justification analysis and return on investment analysis
  • Create proposals and close sales
  • Participate as a team member in the development of Cold Jet's sales and marketing infrastructure
  • Maintain sales data in CRM system, both as a selling tool and as a means of gathering information used by sales management and marketing team members to strategically grow the business
  • Gather knowledge about the applications for which customers and prospects seek our products and communicate this information back to management and marketing

POSITION REQUIREMENTS

  • Associates degree in a related technical field or equivalent on-the-job
  • At least two years' experience selling capital or industrial goods in a business to business environment
  • Effective at selling at multiple levels, from the Board of Directors to the machine operator
  • Able to work systemically through a sales cycle that can average 3-12+ months
  • Well versed with MS Office: Outlook, Excel, Word, PowerPoint and CRM applications
  • Strong business communication skills, from oral presentations to business writing
  • Knowledgeable about the sales process and sales technique
  • Technical and Mechanically savvy, able to learn, to discuss our products on a technical level
  • Able to speak Dutch, French and English
  • The successful candidate will have a successful track record in outside sales, preferably in industrial sector
  • This position requires a willingness to travel. Must be prepared to spend 80% in the field and work independently. The office based in Zellik
