Coldsweep, Inc. was founded in 2001 to provide dry ice blasting services to industry. The environmentally friendly cleaning process employed by Coldsweep can be compared to sandblasting without the mess. All of the dry ice particles used as the blasting media disappear on impact, leaving no secondary waste. Coldsweep services the Oil & Gas, Power Generation, Food Processing, Printing, Historic and Disaster Restoration industries with new applications being discovered all the time.
Recent projects include cleaning a 28-ft. diameter hydroelectric generator (Flathead Lake, MT), cleaning smoke-damaged courthouse books (Richfield, UT), cleaning granite at the Chicago Federal Building (Chicago, IL), removing graffiti at the Kennecott Visitors Center and removing lead-based paint for the Utah State Capitol Restoration Project.
